Sprint Car Toter
Hello
We race 360 winged sprint cars. We live near Colorado Springs, Colorado. We have no dirt sprint car tracks in Colorado so we must travel an average of 1400 miles per weekend just to race.
Our only experience with diesels was our previous trailer tow truck which was a Duramax. Our tow truck and trailer were totally destroyed 16 months ago en-route to Gillette, Wyo.
We have a new trailer (40' goose neck) and a low mileage 1989 GMC Topkick Toterhome with a 8.2 Detroit (turbo) engine, a six speed manual trans and a 3.9-1 rear end. Rig was a 1 owner garage kept light use truck with 105,000 miles.
We look forward to learning more about diesels and their care and feeding.
