I am a middle aged man, who just loves his 2000 F-250 crew cab, long bed, manual tranny, 7.3 Power Stroke, Truck. It will haul my whole family, wife and 4 kids, go hunting, fishing, pull any of my boats or camper, it gets reasonable fuel mileage, and I do not plan on replacing it anytime soon, hoping to get another 10 years out of her. I have been pissed at Ford for a while, but they still have been producing the best full size trucks you can buy as long as I can remember. My truck is getting old and I expect will be needing some repairs in the future, I am having one of the very few problems I have ever had with it and that is why I am here. I have had to replace the clutch arm (original one was defective but ford did not make it good), release bearing (twice), water pump (twice), alternator, oring on plug/bolt on rear/bottom of fuel filter housing, (twice), thats about all I can remember other than normal things like brake pads, rotors and such. so all in all it has been one solid truck.
