Some people were saying that I should check the tranny fluid, and if its burnt not to get it, also that I cant flush the tranny but I have to do the 'hoot' method.

I see another Jeepin.com member has wandered over here.
If it were me, and I had to choose between the two, the Duramax would be in my garage. That being said from somebody who drives a Cummins.
