Bought a 2001 dodge 2500 cummins turbo diesel 4x4 standard cab long box black on black with 130,000 miles on it,, not sure exactly where this post should go so i put it here.... quick question

what is the first maintenance work i should do on my new truck, i want this thing to last forever!!!

Fuel Pressure, Fuel Pressure, Fuel Pressure....

Do you see a pattern?

BTW, welcome.

Oh yeah, get yourself a fuel pressure guage, boost, and pyrometer as well. They really help you see what is happening with your truck, help in troubleshooting, and will save you a lot of $.

Also, if you have an auto...you might also want to consider a tranny temp guage.

130,000...she just broke in
If you don't know the maintainence history, your basic fluid and filter changess might be in order

welcome man!! these 2 before me pretty well covered it. get all fluids and filters changed and get gauges in it asap. especially the fuel gauge. black on black??? sounds like a sweet truck. POST SOME PICS!
