Default New Bomber Here

Hello everyone,
I have alway been a jeep fanatic but have wanted a diesel for a very long time. Anyhow I just joined but have been on this site a lot lately. I need some advice. I'm buying a 2004 2500 laramie. Truck looks in primo shape. Bad thing is it has 295K on it but its all highway. Truck has never been off road ( can't fantom that) and has has some modifications. Its got a front level kit installed. Turbo cooler in very large and looks like its aluminum. Shocks and tires are new. The shock have a **** on them for adjustments but I don't know anything about this. Transmission was replaced at 240K because it started to slip. I think the owner said it was 8k but I forget the type. Its heavy duty. Has some type of mod kit installed to change the fuel mix and stuff. Inside is a little ruff. Driver seat has seam tares. He owns a his own business and puts between 150 and 200 miles a day on it. Its his dailey driver and he has all the maintience records. He owns a paving company and his guys service all his trucks. I just I pretty much made up my mind that i'm buying it but it there anything I should know that could be a show stopper. We agreed on 8K because that what a dealer offered him. At that price I'm not going to try and talk him down I'm wondering if there is something I do not know. I know hes not hiding anything. Hes honset and involved with my sons football team. I may see him tonight and I'll ask about the tranny and get some more info. Can't wait to own this baby. I'll try and take so pics to think what you guys think. I'm off to football practice (not me...my 9 yr old.)

Thanks and it looks I'm going to enjoy being a member of this group.
