Default new to diesels

I just bought my first diesel: a 2009 Dodge 3500. So far I love the truck. I told myself I wasn't going to modify it much. A few days later I put a leveling kit on it. I'm now researching tuners and dpf deletes.

I'm in the Army and am about to move from Alabama to Washington state. I'll be pulling my old bronco behind the dodge. It should be a fun trip.

thanks. i see you're the man to talk to if i decide to put a stack on mine. does anyone know offhand what the rules in washington state are regarding modified exhaust?

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

just dropped the order for an xrt with od software and a dpf delete pipe. it'll be nice knowing the egr isn't pumping crap into my intake manifold anymore.

Welcome to diesel bombers. Thank you for your service. I live in washington state,do you know where your going to be at yet?
And as for the emissions for this state, you can pass the emmissions test with out a huge cloud of smoke or no smoke at all. The later would be better.
As for the mods, once you feel the power increase after the first mod you can easily get hooked. I did.

I'll be in Yakima but my BN will be at Fort Lewis so I'll be driving over the pass a lot. I'm a little worried that I'll get hooked. I have too many projects going and need this rig as my dd. I'm already spending time tinkering on this when I should be finishing up my bronco project.

Yakima is a nice area. I live near fort lewis. And it sounds like the diesel bug is sinking its teeth in you.
