Hello. My name is Ed and I'm a Diesel-aholic. This is my first diesel truck, got it last year, and man, it's funfunfun!! Last truck was a Hemi truck, then some people I know on another site told me once you go black, yadda yadda, whatever dude. Watched these diesel trucks get faster and faster with great mpg. Took me 5 years, but I got me my diesel finally!! Whether it's towing my 25' trailer to Pismo, or taking a friend's '65 Cutlass to a car show, I'm still asking myself almost 2 years later, why did I wait so long?? I'm NEVER going back to gasoline trucks AGAIN!! I've even tossed around the idea of putting a diesel in my project car, a 1966 Oldsmobile F-85, yes, the Olds diesel, and I know their weaknesses (weak head bolts, egr system) and how to fix them, but a friend of mine says he'll give me his good running 330 small block from his '65 for free, he put a 425 big block in it! Anyways, looks like I found a good place and don't mind me if I ask dumb questions since diesels are new to me.
