I just bought a 2007 Chevrolet Classic 2500HD crew cab short box with the LBZ engine and 6 speed allison. I have been dreaming of buying a duramax for years and finally could afford one with the help of my wife. I did a lot of reading/research on all the forums related to diesels and duramax engines specifically and decided that I wanted to get the LBZ engine and 6 speed allison transmission. Now I have one and could not be more proud of my truck. I live in Colorado and hope that the truck does good in the winter here as I hope to use it to get me to my favorite hunting places.

 

cool i drove one the other day for the first time, i like how they sound when you let off the pedal and the come back down to idle,Isuzu has always built reliable engines
