Hi Hello Howdy
I have been doing a lot of reading here on the site so I thought might as well sign up.
My project is a 1985 FORD F250 4 speed 4x4 converted to F350 with 4 new 1 ton leaf springs and Dana 60 front axle(3.54 gears) and a Ford sterling 10.25 rear(3.55). I have just purchased a complete first gen 5.9 intercooled with low milage and will mate that to a NV4500 trans but not sure on transfer case yet. Was hoping to find a 94-98 P pumped 5.9 but could not pass the deal on the first gen. I am sure I will have questions to post as I jump into this engine swap in the next couple months..

Welcome the VE pumped cummins is a real good swap. They are cheap to mod and are very easy to get to an impressive amount of power. I myself have done a conversion with one and have no regrets.
