I am raging at the number of PMD replacements we as diesel owners have to deal with, we buy these trucks to have a heavy duty good strong running truck, and we all have to deal with the dreaded PMD going out, and if you don't know or aren't able to replace and upgrade and relocate the PMD you just loose your money and have to do the replacement over and over. Whats up with this, seems almost like a scam to make us have to buy these PMD s shouldn't we have a recall or something that makes the manufactures liable for a bad design and bad workmanship, I mean "Like a Rock" or "Ford Tough" but this little 400 dollar elec component cant handle a little heat under the hood, why shoudl we have to pay for it, as owners? Isn't there something we can do as a whole like petition, or file complaints in mass numbers to get this issue taken care of, I mean jeezus how many people have the awnser and are right, when they say "its your PMD" you need to relocate it and buy a new one anytime a truck has a problem seems like 80 or 90 percent of problems are with this issue, lets stick together and figure out what we can do to get this issue resolved... all in favor say I!
