New Guy From Colorado
I am new here, I drive a 2000 Dodge cummins. My truck just smoked my injection pump I have a in the tank fuel pump. Had Codes P01688 and P01689. I just put a Air Dog 100 on my truck yesterday and now have to get a injection pump. So this is why I am Here.
Thanks
Thanks
Fuel delivery to the injection pump is obviously critical, on any diesel. You have a fuel pressure gauge? What was the cause of the initial IP failure?
The stock answer for any fuel-related problem seems to be "install an AD, FASS, what-have-you, fuel-system-in-a-box-type solution. Some people even install them to replace perfectly good parts, hoping to keep the mysterious fuel gremlins away.
Water has probably killed more fuel system parts than all other causes combined.
