I'm a newbee diesel owner of a 1985 Land Rover Defender 90 with a 2.5 N/A Diesel engine with 116K miles.. I need help as I confess to know little about this engine and general maintenance. I'm told it can be turbo-charged to bring hp up from 65 hp to 85 or so? but uses a modified camshaft?

looks like there are only few in here that owns a land rover like me. mine is 90k kms and still going strong. i always changed engine oil every 6000kms and change also oil filters as well. changing air filters is also a good move. always check your fuel tank for leaks and also your radiator which is very vital part. i do radiator flushing every 3 months or sometimes even longer it depends on how often you used it. yes it could be turbo charge but i havent tried that one yet. but i would like to try for more power. by the way my name is grey. i will be posting some pictures of my defender soon. cheers!
