So be it, I'm a Newby
Thanks to those that spoke out about my fuse problem and let me tell about myself. I'm really not soooo new to the world but only to this website. I'm a retired Safety Engineer with experiance in missiles, ground, explosives, nuclear, and aircraft. Then again I worked as an Air Quality Manager specializing in Particulate Matter, O3, and many other criteria pollutants for the USMC. I recently purchased a 2011 4x4 Silverado DMax CC long bed LTZ for toting my Lance slide-in camper. This truck gets 18mpg unloaded and 14 mpg loaded. I use cruise as often as I can along with the exhaust brake. I love the power it has and the way it handles. I have a Firestone air lift system in place of the rear air jounce bumpers above the springs. I placed a chrome grill guard and a dark bug deflector up front to protect against stuff. Am glad to be apart of the Diesel Bombers crew.

More Tinkering
Alexis, I too have no major problems with my 2011 DMax. I did add the Putco Chrome Door Handles and lower SS door and body protectors. Then put on a Husky 5th wheel tailgate (used to tote my 5er). The B&B Patriot 5th Wheel Hitch, when left on, is covered with a Softtopper Cover that gives the truck a military stance. I didn't have a sliding rear window so put an aftermarket one in with the open/close switch overhead where the stock one would sit (was cheaper). I put Black Fender Skirts (with chrome bolt heads extruding on the wheel openings). Finally with one of the mud flaps covering the exhaust I cut a round hole in the affected flap and added a chrome 10" x 5.5" slice-tip to the stock exhaust pipe. I turned the tip to the side and it looks like a monster. With that I added a couple of teeth in the front bumper trans cooler opening to make it look the part (didn't affect the temps). Has kept me busy but now I want to find information about a Propane Injection system for it...may not be any help I've heard.
