Hi Guys

I just bought a 1996 C-3500 6.5 Turbo manual trans vin F
I was told it needed a head gasket, Got the head off and found
# 7 cylinder was gone no side walls left, Thought maybe could be sleved
machine shop called and told to get a boat cause I allready have a ancor
he has a 6.2 and told me it would work in place of the 6.5 bought the complete 6.2 motor from him ? its from the early 80s I'm just sure
if it will work. If I take my 6.5 heads and rerbuild the 6.2 block What will I end up
with ??
I really need someone how knows
