My name is Brian and I'm new to diesels. I am in the USAF. When I got back from overseas 5 years ago my wife wanted a VW Golf. The one she wanted had the TDI motor in it and I tried to talk her out of it. I didn't like diesels because I didn't know anything about them. She bought the car anyway and we both loved it. She sold it and missed the diesel so much she bought a 1981 VW Rabbit Diesel. Great car!

Anyway, that's how I really learned to love diesels and now I want one. I have a 1952 Ford F3 that I will never get rid of. I love that truck and now I want to put Cummins 6bt in it. I have recently found a motor and will start peicing everything together to get it in the truck. It's going to take some work but I'm excited about it. I will have a lot of questions.

Long term goal is to get the truck done and start making our own biodiesel.

 

post some pics of the truck during the build if ya have question im sure someone here could help,some of the ford guys might know of a conversion kit that could help ya

 

I've been looking around the internet and found a few 56 and leter Fords with the cummins conversions but not an F3 or smaller truck.
