Default How much more can I take

Hello everybody.
I want to start by saying how much I hate blue tech emissions. I own a towing company and have 1-3500 dually, 3-4500 wreckers and 1-5500. All are a 08 except the 5500 its a 09. Since having these trucks I have had nothing but headaches with engine lights on. I run these trucks to the dealerships constanly and its usually always the same thing egr,egr valve sooted turbo. The 5500 got some water in the fuel from bad diesel, and destroyed the dpf filter and the fuel pump, injector pump, injectors and injector tubes. 10k later and them having the truck for a week and its running good. Recently I purchased a DPF, egr delete with a smarty jr kit from pure dpf delete. I installed it on one of the 4500 which has 198,000 miles. Thing runs great but I have hard codes for the trans temp sensor and the egr recirculate motor. They wont go away. I called the company and they have no idea. I even removed the gear that they say to do when you do the kit just before the egr motor. About a month later and we fill up the truck with what we thought was diesel only to make it 1/4 of a mile and the truck to run like ****. tow back to the shop, drop the tank and remove 18 gallons of I dont know what, some neon yellow crap. Double checked the pump and its definetly a diesel pump. I have showed a few people and they say bio-diesel some say a crap load of water. Either way it took out my fuel pump, injector pump, injector tubes, and injectors. Labor and parts 8,500. Call Bp they tell me to pack sand. Wow. Im going to install Air Hog inline fuel filters asap on all of the trucks. My question is can I install a egr and cooler delete without a smarty jr, black max ect. I need to keep the dpf and all stock settings on the trucks until after they reach 180,000 miles they have assian transmissions and they will claim I beefed up the truck to avoid warranty claims. Im going to H&S Performance for anything else. As it stands every truck in our fleet has a engine light on and prob a few stored codes probaly for egr issues. I just cant afford to run these to the shop everyweek. If it helps we average 400-500 miles per night each truck. I plan on deleting each dpf system after the warranty is up.

That sucks man!!

The NEW trucks are no better. We had a 2009 and 2010 MaxxForce International slide backs. Both are POS's!! Under 20k on both trucks... Engine light issues a LOT, one blew an oil line and took the motor, other blew an IP and the ECU. Its pathetic! Told my buddy he shoulda bought Cummins powered LMAO!

You could always get the Auditor out and have him pump fuel into a tank from that BP garbage then have it tested and sue the fuel station...
We had fuel station also, problem is it wasn't probably their direct fault. I would bet it was the delivery truck driver!! We got out of our Sunoco contract after many years and started going independant! Way better fuel pricing but you had to baby sit the delivery guys if it wasn't the regular guy. We had a guy pump 3k gallons of regular into a premium tank... thankfully we never sold anything BUT regular so we had to tape off the pump grades and switch over delivery tanks. No big deal but proof **** happens!

Regardless. Welcome to the group!!
