oil useage

Default oil useage
I have a 2004.5 Dodge 2500 I use to pull trailers quite a bit. I have owned this truck for over 2 years. 2 times about 2 years apart it has blown about 1gallon of engine oil out the blowby while pulling a little load. It does this in about 500 miles but when I add new oil to fill it back up it quits useing oil. I just wonder if anyone else has seen this happen.
