I picked up a '97 (5spd) last summer with 116 000 on the clock. Truck is 100% stock with exception of the straight pipe and Weld wheels.....

Whose idea was it to put a 215hp engine in a 7500lb truck?

But I am working to fix that

My plans for the truck are to turn it into a trailer puller... ie. car/camper.

Any suggestions on turning this 12v into a tow rig?...

So far from what I have recommended are/is:

Intake
4" exhaust
#11 plate
3k springs

And maybe a new clutch....this one is original but still seems to work well under non towing conditions.
