Default Hey fellow bombers

My name is Greg,
I am looking to buy a small commercial truck to Fab into a Drill Rig.
I have been working over 20 years in the Geotestical field, and know a lot of potential clients to work for.
So I thought about a 15 or 20 foot NPR or UD that has a 6cyl. non turbo. Something I can run a PTO off of for the rig to save Weight. Don't want air brakes (that's just one more thing to Pay for). Of course I would need to run a second cooler as well.
If anybody has some suggestions (or complaints about either), please post away

Hey Just saw, You Guys are fast. No not yet, but once where up maybe.

I'm also putting together a soils lab, Bought a shear machine and fabbing up a consolidometer. I need a few more things but that's another story. I'm really interested in a truck that can run all day under a load through the PTO. Will probably put the lab in a trailer, to make it mobile.
Thanks,
Greg

Default Weight

I need to keep it under 12K, cab forward, for insurance and licensing purposes.

The only way to win work nowadays is the organize for it or take the hit in payroll.
Its that downward spiral of about Thirty years. My Dad did what I do, Back then he had a Truck, Gas Card, Expense and, got paid for travel. Now its "Get your *** their" and finish all work before you leave and, Don't charge anything not billable!
