I drive a stock 03'Duramax 2500hd. I came here looking for info on injector troubles, found some good info so far, but more importantly a lot of good people who love their trucks.I think i'll stay. I'm in New York and in the warmer months, above 30 degrees, i burn a blended fuel made of about 60% used veggie oil.
Anyway thanks to the powers that be for building this site. great place to be

do you do any treatments to the waste veggi oil before pouring into the tank? i'm curious about the waste oil and have been thinking about starting a filtration system in the garage, but i got to clean the garage out first

Yes i do filter to 5 microns and i use a couple different additives.besides that it gets thihnned some by the fuel in the tank.
