Beer Hello

New to this forum but not to pick ups.

I'm on my 2nd Diesel truck

Sold my '03 2500 CTD in '06 for an F150 when diesel was $5.50 a gallon and gas was $4 a gallon.

Well I got a '10 CCSB 6.7 CTD with the 68RFE and am LOVING IT

My whole family has had and still have PSD, CTD, and a Duramax here and there and we've had them for as long as I can remember.

Just hoping to continue learning about the CTD. (Really I'd like to find out how many people on forums don't have issues with their trucks.) I'm a member on Cumminsforum & DTR. Seems like most of those members race their trucks. If I didn't know anything about the CTD and read through the CF boards, I'd probably never own one as it's just problem after problem with the 6.7.

I'm glad to read several posts on this forum where people have not had any issues with their trucks here.

I'm in the Navy and going to hit my 12 year mark in June I have a sweet wife and 2 darling daughters. My newest was born 12/1/2010 while I'm out in the middle of the ocean supporting the War on Terror in the middle east.

I'll be home Spring of 2011 and will be doing lots of modifications to my truck after May 15th (My 365 days of not being allowed to modify the truck expires), not because the truck needs it, but because I can

My 2010 is a "Wed" truck on all accounts. Zero issues, I get 19MPG Interstate and 15MPG normal driving. I tow my sig 5er around all over the West Coast and to the western part of the mid west and average 10-11MPG through all the mountian ranges. Towing up & down I-5 (FLAT) I've averaged as good as 14MPG.

I just wish I had a back up camera, remote start, cab lights, and a sun roof. All in due time I suppose.

Look forward to talking to a lot of you and hopefully might be able to help some guys out as well.

Ryan
