HELLO OUT THERE!
I purchased my 1991 Dodge Ram (D/W 250, 5.9L, straight 6) to do some cross country traveling with my dog.
It has been revised to run partially on waste vegetable oil by a really smart guy up in seattle when I was living there. He was a frugal man who decided against "fry-brid" and did all of the converting himself.
So far we have made it to L.A. just fine and for a really good price (W.V.O. goes for $1/ gallon at most).
While here, decided to change the lift pump because it was leaking out of the weep hole. Upon doing that, i didn't have the right torque wrench to tighten it all the way and after a test run, i might have messed up a whole lot more but i am not sure!!!
And that is how I came to find this awesome forum full of awesome people who seem very very helpful!
