Hello
Hi everyone, just joined up hope to learn and someday help as well. But I have a sad story to tell. I purchased a 2004.5 2500 Dodge Ram Quad Cab 4x4 5.9L Turbo long bed 2 months ago with 183,000 miles. Clean as a pin inside and out, well maintained as far as maintance goes. I bought it at the urging of my youngest son who is 24 and loves diesel engines. Test drove it etc. seemed good (at least he said). It was used to tow alot but its a cummins. I have since put in $5700.00 believe it or not. It started with a timing gear cover gasket then a water pump, next a fan clutch and a powering stering gear, transmission leak, and finally a new turbo which this has the larger one. Not to mention transmission fluid and filter change, powering stering fluid change, rear end serviced, transfer case serviced. I'm told now its in great shape. This is my first diesel truck and I still love it!
