anyone know how to replace a rear main oil seal 1993 5.9 cummins

 

Take the trans out. Remove flywheel, or flex plate. Than you have two choices. Either remove the rear main housing and pond out the seal in pound in the new one. Or use a screw and slidehamer to remove it and the new one should come with a starter ring to help slide it over the crank and a metal install tool to pound it in and get the right depth.
