New to the fuel but not the trade
Hey guys, new to the forum here,
drove a buddy's modded 12-valve a few months back and love the grunt/brute force of the engine, so I managed to pick up an 82 volvo 240 estate "" its no 12-valve but its diesel.
Im still in the process of learning how the whole injector pump works, and how to tweak it simply for cheap performance.
Recently I picked up a 84 Volvo F613 "F6 series truck" box truck that im going to use to move myself from houston tx to NC, and its lacking a bit in the performance department , but thats a whole different thread:

Here's a few quick pics of what ive done so far: home-made turbo kit, no intercooler yet but I blew the head gasket when the boost peaked 40psi, so as you can see, an IC has been moved down the list of priorities . head gasket and head studs 1st.
the truck: TD60B volvo engine, not sure on litreage

Its called a tow-hook ornament,
people in the "drifting society" typically hang stuffed animals, or something of that origin... I decided to mix it up with something or character reflecting my car... a turbo housing.... not some hello-kitty doll .

I saw a pipe welder rig with 2 actual 2" nuts hanging from chains, I had to give him props for putting a twist on an old idea, but none the less, very played out IMO.
Hood stacks are where its at

a way too long video of my 240 wagon, the only interesting thing IMO is the small electrical fire . but seeing a hood stack on a wagon is equally amusing.
