Default Diesels Rock 98.5 stick 99 auto

I have always looked at the postings and i have never particapted. I currently have two dodge cummins diesels. A 98.5 stick with 340,000 miles and only one vp44 and a 99 with 320,000 miles with one vp44. the 98.5 is stock other than a edge chip, rebuilt the transmission 5,000 miles ago and added a king shaft with a ball bearing to for the pilot bearing. This would be my truck. The 99 auto my daughters truck with the Edge tubo and the edge comp controler, 300 hp edge injectors, Fass 150 fuel pump with tran, exshust, and boost pressure gauges with a 5' exchaust and a trilple lock torque converter with a 5' lift and 315X16' tires. Still need to install fuel pressure guage. It has 456 gear ratio front and back. This is my problem child and i will be asking for some guidance from the many knowlegable people that visit this froum. I have a mechanical back ground 27 years as a industrial mechanic and currently am a maintenance supervisor for a large Wine company in California. I have always did my own repairs to save money. As the automotive indunistey gets more complex just as my lines are doing at work we need to look for people that have the current knowlege and can give some ideas to which road we should be heading down when we touble shoot our own trucks and cars. I hope that i can provide some information that i have come across during my dealings with my trucks. Thanks Steve
