Helo, I'm a mechanic working for a fleet of about 400 trucks, we have everything from a 1941 Ward LaFrance firetruck to a 2010 6.4L Ford Some heavy diesel and some light diesel. Sometimes I come across some things on these newer diesels that frustrates the hell outa me, that's why I joined this group, hopefully you guys can help me with some of my problems, and I can help others once in while too.

 

welcome to the club, might want to swing by dillsburg PA towrad the end of October.. big diesel dyno day, all weekend long actually....... good deal being able to watch a few trucks break 1000 hp on a dyno.

 

 

 

Hey your in good company! Whare abouts PA? Sends some pics of the fire trucks that you work on please? Some the widest piant jobs I have everseen was on some of the PA fire rigs! You come further west like out here in California they are very conservative at staying red, yellow, white, or Dpt forestry green. kinda boring for fire trucks.

@ Rustin, the fire truck is just tthe bosses toy, it's red with gold leaf trim, but it has a 350 chevy in it!
