Hi all!
I'm coming over from Comanche Club & will most likely be using both sites for information as i go along with my build. I work as a helicopter turbine engine mechanic & love turning wrenches.
Here's what i got:
1991 Jeep Comanche
Currently it's being converted from 2wd to 4wd with a 4 1/2'' Rough Country / Hell Creek lift. Also, i'm overhauling a Ford 8.8 rear axle to beef things up a bit & going with 4.10 gears.
My plan is to swap out the 4.0 for a Mercedes OM617 Turbo with an AX15 / NP231 transmission.
