my first diesel was a 94 ford superduty dump truck...(still have it and love it)...got it used in 97..worked it every day had a problem w the high pressure oil pump frezzing ,sheard part of the cam ..or so i was told..replaced the engine with a good used one that was 02...still hav the truck...had to redo injector o rings but thats about it..i really really love that truck..in 05 bought a new 6.0 f250 ..had over heating problems from get go..never worried bout it cause under warranty ..ford took care of origanl overheatig problem..never had a second thought about it untill now....i really really love my old 7.3...thats wat brings me here needing help..so ill shoot a few ideas past some fellow 6.0 owners...
