thanks all in response, the TDIC Ranger is a goer by all means, i havent driven one first hand but have been a passenger in one, quick and pulls hard for a 4 cyl

Welcome aboard. i like those little Patrols. Just the looks of them does it for me. Rode in one while i was in Quatar a few months ago, they did pretty damn good across the sand dunes out there.

nice, cant say im keen on sand myself, give me rutted hills etc and im in my element and mud, muds good

Welcome Ben, you'll fit in just fine !!! Ever actually use that snorkel? I had a Toyota Landcruiser with a Chevy 327ci engine and 33" mudtires. Had it all sealed up with a snorkel to boot in California in my 20s. Had a blast with it, you brought back some memories.
