Hey guys, figures I may as well join up as a fellow a diesel "enthusiast". Sorry to shatter dreams n break hearts when I say I think truck pulls and the almighty 5.9 are overrated...not that they don't have their place. Then again, most people think I'm nuts bc i'm partial to the dinosaur IDI motors of yesteryear. Awesome old towing engines, & damn are they ever fun to drive! Not to mention that my favorite era fords never came with a PSD. Although I might not neccessarily be against a retrofit...but that's a long ways away. I also like the lack of wires n boxes on my oilburners. So, since I'm here, what do I need to convert my 84 F-truck from a 351w to a 6.9...also, (not real swift on makes/models/sizes) what mods would be neccessary to run a Ford 9600 (401/6.6) tractor turbo on a 6.9, I can score one pretty cheap is why I ask. Either that, or I could prolly get my old turbo setup off of my old 94 7.3 turbo (don't own anymore, but it's close)

Finally, I'm wondering how long it'll take Brad or Chad to figure out who I am (good luck with your clutch/brakes guys!! ...it's become apparent that I must like using parenthesis lately). Thanks in advance for any help, Peace out for the night fellas...
