Hello from Southeastern Wyoming
Hi all,
I found this site while trying to get information on testing and replacing the glowplugs in my '97 7.3L Powerstroke. What I found here led me to a site to buy from, and gave me the confidence to replace them myself, which was surprisingly easy once I got the stubborn tight-fitting valve cover off of the passenger side. I also had a fuel leak that I was told was more than likely my fuel transfer pump so I came here to check things out, and saw that people had found leaks in various areas around the fuel filter bowl, so I took a flashlight and spent some time staring at this area on the truck and discovered that it was a faulty vacuum switch; $70 replacement, but much easier than the pump.
Anyway I plan to spend time here learning more about fixing my truck up, and although I am no expert, I will give tips and/or help if I can.
