'01 7.3 psd w/ 330,245 miles
Just wanted to say hello and tell you all that I have an '01 F-250 with the 7.3 Powerstroke.
It has the crewcab 4x4.
I bought it from the original owner who put 316,000 miles in it. It is the best truck I have ever owned. I could not believe that the A/C still works and will freeze you out! There are NO shakes and rattles in any of the interior, it is SO quiet when driving at 65mph.
I had to do a few little things to it, but with that many miles on it, I did not mind putting some work into it.
-The bolts that hold the turbo to the pedestal was totally loose which was causing the o-rings to leak. I removed and replaced the o-rings and now there is NO oil leak.
-I had to change the outer u-joints in the front axle.
I had to change the throttle position sensor that is in the gas pedal.
I LOVE my truck and am SO proud to drive it.
I do have a question. . . . Every now and then it seems to lag a bit and I have to push the throttle down farther then I normally should have to. Is there anything I should/could look at? Any ideas what is wrong?
Thank you for reading my post, I am in love with my '01 superduty!
