I own a 2003 gmc duramax 2500 hd 4dr. This is probably the best all around trk that I've ever owned. I plow snow, haul my car trailer to the drag strip and I haul a 30 ft fifth wheel. I've had any number of issues some could have been prevented but life is a learning experience.I had a transfer case burn up when it was new the oil pump in the trans case had a crack in it . This was a manufacturer defect I lost the trans case altogether 2 yrs later . The oil pump wore a hole in the case an I lost all the fluid. I now know that this is a problem with this case. I had the dealer do the injectors in warranty. Shift cable froze up in winter and I could'nt shift The heater fan speed is high only and I had to replace the rear axle grease seal at 70'000 miles Now the trailer mode switch doesn't work. I love the truck but it sure has cost alot of money to repair all of these things
