Default Newbie here from Texas
Hello my name is Steve and i'm from LaPorte,Tx. I found this site on a post in nother site. I've been a diesel owner for about 6yrs. my truck is a 1997 Dodge ram3500 4x4 with 235,000 miles on the clock. I do mostly drag car stuff and new to the performance side of diesels. I'm tired of putting trannys in my tow rig. i'm on number 4 right now.

welcome Steve, I too dragrace and have had my diesel for 2 years for towing to the Texasmotorplex, you may want to try a duramax with the allison tranny as it works great

thanks for all the welcomes. I like what I have been reading here so far. I see I dont have the only Dodge with auto trans issues. I mght be in the market for a newer truck soon but want to see what problems people are having with them.
