Default Hello!

As a lifelong long haul driver, I`ve known about the durability and power of a Cummins for some time now.Being old school, I`m naturally drawn to the 12 valve.I recently found a decent 96 2500 4x4. 4.10 gears automatic with 125,000 miles. What an awesome motor! As of now, its totally unmolested and I`ve found a recipe for 400 hp and about 1000 ft/lb. I now have a legit reason to join this site! Got a million questions, I do, `cuz I`m gonna rebuild at least 50% of the truck myself! Does the 6bt look like a mini 855 block to anyone else?

Don't forget to beef up that tranny before you put the power to the ground, or you may not be happy for long!

Glad to have you aboard. Yap just a scaled down model. Like said before build the trans first, not like i did. Put power to it and then toast the trans.
