power stroke 6ltr 2006

Ihave a problem with my computor cde ttyat keeps popping up after i errased it code no 299. How do i solve this problem once and foreall? Is it an expensive propposition. Would appreciate an answer A.S.A.P. Thanks.

Hi. I have a truck computer that is giving me always the same code (299). After I erase the code I am good for appox,3000 miles and then it pops-up again.How ca I fix this problem once and foreall? Thanks. ps Ihope some one can help me A.S.A.P.
