Default 1st time diesel owner!

Well as a first time diesel owner I find it amazing that there is such a site as this. In all my years of hot rods and drag racing (gas powered) there has never been so many people willing to share so much info about their trucks, cars, etc. I'm glad to be here and hope to meet all of you at some time. Maybe you can help an old man (62 and retired ) keep up with the young guns of this diesel world. 97, 12 valve, stock until later.

Well i've been reading all your post for weeks trying to find out ins and outs of diesels. Seems like you all have quite a bit of diesel knowledge floating around on this site. One thing, it took me forever to figure out what BHAF and KDP meant. LOL I'm still lost on some of the other stuff though. I'm in Bremond, Texas transplanted from West Columbia, SC.
Married with 8 children and 12 grandchildren and just bought a 1997 12 valve Dodge quad cab 2wheel drive 2500. I'm looking for a project to kill some time with. My wife works at a auto parts store and it's either have a project or drink beer or maybe both. I also have a 1964 Chevy 3/4 ton that I'm almost finished with.
