New from NY
Hi everyone, joined the site a couple of days ago and just wanted to thank everyone for great information. My neighbor gave me a 1983 motorhome with a chevy 6.2/th400 combo with only 30,000 mile on it and it hasn't been started in 2 years. Checked out a couple of threads for info and it helped out alot. It will be going in my 84 4dr dually project

Hey, welcome to Diesel Bombers!
Glad that you can enjoy the site!
Cool that you got that motorhome- don't try to start that engine, if it was sitting over two years. Be careful, try to drop a bit oil in each chamber, this will lubricate the pistons rings and the liners and prevent damage from sticky or corroded parts. Just crank it. No start!
That cranking only also get oil onto the bearing which are definetly dry and at all parts that need some lube.
All other questions please in the appropriate sections!
