I was looking for a diesel for over a year, had always sought out ford for gas burners, but for diesels I kept reading and reading about great fuel mileage with the cummins. so I started to look for either, my budget was only about $8,000 so it needed to be older, well bingo I found a 96 3500 Dodge dually with only 60,000 miles on it for $10,000 so I bought it, and the mileage is really pretty awesome @ 2000 rpm it is 75mph @ 23 miles a gallon, much more than I expected.
the only sad things is I love to drive it, but already put 18,000 more miles on it in 4 months.
