Hello
I'm pretty new to this type of thing but here goes.
My wife and I live near Gardner Colorado in a valley between the Sangre De Cristo and Wet Mountains. We're just getting over winter and in the middle of mud season. Lots of fun.
My truck is an 02 Dodge 2500 4WD, 5.9 cummins HO, 6 speed, long bed with extended cab, white with a silver belly. I put a pac brake on it right after pulling the first 16k load over Vail Pass. The ups were no problem but the down hills were a bit scary. The engine brake makes it a totally different experience. Bought it new and it has 178k miles now. Runs great at stock output, 245 HP. Haven't felt the need for more power at this point. I just improved the fuel delivery system with an Airdog FP150. This was after collecting 6 worn out standard lift pumps on the bench over the past 7-1/2 years. No other real issues with it except a couple minor things I hope to deal with in the tech part of this forum. I've also added a frame mount goose neck hitch and a 60 gallon aux tank in the form of a texas fuel and tool type box. My gauges are westac, lift pressure, EGT and boost, Trans and rear diff temp on the A pillar.
I pull a 22ft travel trailer typically with a raft tagged on behind for some fly fishing fun whenever I'm not trying to make a living up here. Other loads are just work related, some big some small.
