When I was growing up, my family had Isuzus and Hinos and I learned to drive on a a small Isuzu flatbed. My second car was a diesel Nissan Sentra.
I have a beat-up 94 F250 PSD that I used for all kinds of "farm" stuff, horses, hoem improvement, hauling hay, gardening etc. The truck probably was in a rollover but it drives true and has 290K. Starts everyday.
I am in the process of getting an 05 F250 PSD XL - manual tranny and TC, even the hubs and windows. I think you can not get any more manual than that. I think it was really a good find.
My goal is to have only diesels by year 2012 (Maybe I'll stick in a Ford Fusion Hybrid).
I like this site a lot compared to all the other diesel sites. Been lurking for a while.
