Love the truck hate the charging system. Need help fast my truck is down
1st of all I would like to say hellow to everyone and that I'm happy to be here. I am the 2nd owner of this 1991 dodge w250 4x4 getrag5speed 355gears 150,000 miles did I mention that it has a cummins 
but no intercooler. Ok that's the truck now the problem. Charging ofcoarse. I have read several theads seems the only thing to go wrong is the regulator. I've put 3or4 on mine usually fixes it for a while. The last one I got didn't even try to work and Orielly's is getting tired of replacing them. I checked all my wiring and found that one of the large connections on the air heater relay plastic cover is slightly melted would that cause the charging problem and how do I fix it? Dodge no longer sells those relays. Air heater seems to work fine. Never pluged in all winter. I did try grounding the green lead to regulator and the truck charges. One more thing how come everybody has so many regulator problems. I mean come on there's got to be a reason. The manufacturer's of them got to be losing money. HELP!!!!!!
