Newby with New Old Diesel
Howdy,
Great looking forum, glad I found it.
I recently purchased a 1985 F250 xtended cab, 6.9 idi. The owner said it would not crank and I would need to tow it, I talked him down to $500.00. Brought my battery charger and 2 cans of starter fluid. After 30 mins it cranked. Also had my air tank and aired up the 3 flat tires. I then drove it 70 miles home with wife following me and shaking her head the whole way.
