My name is David, and I am from Minnesota. Yes I'm only 17 but I've been hooked on diesels ever since my grandpa got me started when I was 13. I bought my diesel from him when I got my drivers license and I've enjoyed it ever since. My truck is a 2001 Dodge 2500 SLT with the high output version of the 24 valve. It has an NV5600 tranny and Dana 60 front and Dana 80 rear. Also has the camper special package with the beefier leaf springs. List of the modifications include a K&N cold air intake, MBRP 4" turbo back exhaust, and a Superchips Flashpaq tuner. I also mounted 2 implement lights on the reciever hitch and installed a Cobra 29 LTD limited edition CB. So far it's only accumulated 43,000 miles but I've put on 20,000 in the past 2 years that i've owned it. My grandpa sold me the truck on the one condition that I can never sell it or trade it in. So I'm looking forward to enjoying it for the rest of my life. My future plans include ARP head studs, ATS twin turbos, Centerforce clutch, a hot rod VP44, Banks intake manifold, ATS intercooler, and an Edge Juice with Attitude.

Stay away from Banks on a 2001. They just don't work well on a 01 for some reason. I have had three of my buddies and myself have to take them back.

Welcome, hope you like your DODGE

I like the part about your grandfather banning you to trade it in or sell it, that way it has more emotional value....
