Name is Jeff.
Been a car guy my whole life,...Well since I could remember anyways.
No not the type that was born with a wrench in his hand, or a plumbers crack but I have had my folly's.
Started with a 1971 GMC K1500 gas pickup truck with 4 on the floor, love that ruck still have it to this day. I remember when I was 8 or 9 I bought it off my dad for 5 bucks because I heard him say he was going to sell it. yeah over my 9 year old dead body.
when I was 16 the clutch went out replaced that but got a knock in the engine. about 2 years later i pulled the 350 and its been sitting since. sad day

had a few cars that i got 2nd handed (really 4th or 5th) those didn't last. O well

Then about 2 years ago I got a car that I love. Its a 1967 Chrysler New Yorker with a 440 and true dual exhaust (with glass packs of course) I set off car alarms as I dive past them. tehe tehe. rear end blew because the set pin in the orbital gear broke. tore my rear end apart and sent a shock wave all the way to my engine.
So I rebuilt the rear diff, rebuilt the transmission and then went to work on my engine. car sat on jacks for about a year and a half.
So when I tore into the engine, I found out that my 440 has been already bored 40 over so that's a .040 over bore on a 440... FUN!!!! got her all taken care of, installed a new Edlebrock performer series intake manifold and she flew, not its really fun. that was until the electrical harness failed. had the original wiring from the late 60's so it was bound to go eventually.

about 3 months ago I picked up my 1983 GMC 6.2L Diesel Suburban with an aftermarket Banks turbo, nothings been the same since.... Damn I love Diesel!!!!

That's me in a nut shell.

Jeff
