im looking at a 2004 duramax hd 2500 with 90,000 miles what do i need to look for when i check it out?

any leaks, odd noises, if your new to diesels have someone check it for you. test drive-push it to the limits where you wont get caught. there is a post on here in the looking for a new diesel page about what different trucks problems are and more of what to look for when your lookin at a truck.

Is it an 04 or 04.5? there was an engine change that year from LB7 to LLY.. if its an lb7, ask when the injectors were changed. Thats very low miles and I think they have a 200,000 mile warranty on them from GM. Good luck!
