Thank for the warm welcome, I will get more involved with the forum as I go along fixing my big "ugly duckling", for those who don't know me, I am Chris, D.J.'s brother and I just recently sold my subaru and 73 Ford F100 and got a 97 Cummins Laramie SLT with the 5 speed. It needs a lot of work body wise but the 12 valve feels really strong at only 160k miles. I will get pictures soon. And thanks again BigEd and Uncle Bubba, I will try to make this my one and only truck .

welcome bro, its good to have diesel brother #2 here, although you really need to get rid of that DPF pronto!, and turn up the fuel... and add some gauges... get crackin yo!
