Ok Guys
The message bar says I have been a member for at least 5 days now and it won't go away till I make post. Funny message Bar . I really have enjoyed just reading what you guys have to say about these things. Bought this truck from my Son in law in 2006 with 65,000 miles on it and being this is my first Diesel I hope they last a long time as I am getting up there in age its probably my last truck as its only used to run to Walmart once or twice a week.
I like the power just fine as is but is there really ever too much power?
After I get everything installed and get the baselines I plan to do some of the mods you guys are up to.

Thanks for letting me be a part of this tribe

Gmc 2004.5 2500 4X4X4 .70K miles , 285s 16s on Bandit mag wheels. Have gauges ,Pyro, boost , engine Oil temp , fuel filter vacuum, Aux fuel filter, Pro pods full piller triple gage pod, Diamond Eye turbo back quiet pipe 4 inch exhaust , Iron bull defender front and rear bumpers, recon 17,000# winch , 2 inch lift kit , all the cognito steering parts including tie rods . AFE bladeRunner turbo inlet tube. And was thinking about a fuel rail pressure gauge. Everything but the wheels and tires in boxes to be installed when the weather gets warmer.

Whats this I hear about the turbo vanes getting stuck? if so how do you free them up?
