Default Newbie To Diesel...Gasser Mechanic..Learnin Fast...:)

Hello, All....

I just became the owner of a 93 2WD 3/4 ton Auto, clubcab truck..it has 200k on the clock, but I am 90% sure the Engine has been taken care of Nice it's whole life....I can almost eat off the thing....

Ppump is fresh, Injection pump has been gone thru, injectors are clean, New alt. New Rad.
Auto trans freshened up....I bought it for the engine and trans to transplant into my

1965 Ford CrewCab Dually project....When Done I will have a 65 1 Ton Hi-Boy 4x4 Dually
Running 32 x 9.5 x 16, with 10 ton Winches Front and Rear operated Hyd over Gear/PTo Drive. Also A hyd Dump bed

I am A Gasser Mechanic and a Fabricator by Trade. I have always loved the 61-66 Ford Body, and the Cummins powerplant, So I knew when I found My 66 Crew Where it would End up at...

I don't plan to get crazy with the HP gains on the Cummins, just tweak the injection a bit, and let it breathe in and out a Bit better....For what I am going to do with my 65 , I won't need anything Mightier than Beefy stock....

I Have already learned ALOT just lurking here....WAY COOL SITE.....
Thanks to those who have already given me some input....

Also I have to give Kudo's to muskrat....he saved My Bacon today.....

See you in the posts, John in Oregon.
